Just my personal back story, I began my love for animals growing up with the sweetest, most lovable Vizsla, Bella, throughout my childhood, and have always had a passion for animals. When it came time to get another dog after Bella my parents gave me the honor of caring for a dog of my very own when I turned sixteen. That is when my sweet Daisy came into my life my Chiweenie (Chihuahua Dachshund Mix) that was always by my side, until she sadly passed in 2020. My love and care of pets goes far beyond these two amazing dogs though, while I was studying at UVM I decided to starting working at a doggie daycare when I was home in Indiana during my breaks. I worked at Fetch Dog Resort for about one a half years during the holiday seasons when they were at their busiest getting experience caring for dogs in a group play and boarding setting. I continued this love and care for dogs after college when I moved to Vermont full time, and got a job at Sleepydog Kennel. I worked at Sleepydog for about two and a half years providing care for dogs in a group play and boarding facility, working with many dogs at a time. I also for about a year worked part-time in the Pet Care Department of Petsmart caring for the small animals, fish, reptiles, amphibians, and birds, so I have a bit of experience with almost any kind of pet. While I worked at Sleepydog I also began to work part-time as a pet sitter through Rover. For about six years I have been working in Chittenden County providing exceptional care for all kinds of pets ranging from dogs and cats to tortoises and rabbits. All this experience and time caring for all these animals has lead me to follow my heart and do this full-time, because I have finally come to realize that all pets deserve this level of love and care when their parents are away and I strive to provide that care for all of your pets!
